Workshop Business Development Manager
This position requires experience and knowledge of agricultural/horticultural and/or heavy equipment service representation, including developing business relationships with new and existing clientele.
Your time will occupied developing the service and repair market for our experienced workshop team, and selling new and used machinery.
Our market catchment is diverse and is best described as follows: Orchardists, orchard contractors, packhouses, dairy and dry stock farmers, earthmoving and construction contractors, forestry and timber processing contractors, roading contractors, and transport operators.
Skill sets required for this position:
Service related business development and equipment sales experience and background knowledge (either mechanical/engineering or operational)
Natural relationship building skills. All of our business is built on trust and development of long term relationships, delivering on our promises, and supporting our customers all the way through.
Good mathematical, written and oral english skills. High computer literacy required.

- Engine and transmission repairs.
- Forklifts and materials handling equipment.
- Heavy equipment incl; skidsteers, bulldozers, excavators and other tracked or heavy rubber tyred vehicles.
- Heavy transport incl COF repairs
- Hydraulic hose and hydraulic systems.
- Strong diagnostics skills in electrical/hydraulic/engine/transmissions systems.
- Heavy mechanical fitting, such as track, blade, bucket, boom disassembly, repair reassembly, etc.
The ideal candidate will possess the following character traits:
- Must be honest, reliable and have integrity.
